What Is Bridal Musings?
Bridal Musings is an international wedding blog featuring beautiful, chic and creative real weddings and wedding inspiration from around the world. It was founded by Elizabeth Muhmood Kane in 2011 after her own nuptials and Claire Eliza joined the team as managing editor in 2017. Where are you based?
Elizabeth lives in Dubai, UAE but travels between London, Dubai and other parts of Europe regularly. Claire is based in New York but travels a heck of a lot too in her other role as a destination wedding photographer. (It's fair to say we both love to travel!)
How do I submit a real wedding or styled shoot to Bridal Musings?

Do you feature wedding films?
Yes, we're big fans of wedding cinematography, we even created a Film Gallery to showcase all the beautiful wedding films we feature. Check out our submissions page for more info. (But please bear in mind we are currently only accepting a limited number of films as we are in the middle of revamping the way we feature them.)
How do I become a sponsor / advertise on Bridal Musings?

Do you accept guest posts?
We don't accept unsolicited guest posts from companies (or writers working for companies) who are looking to boost their online presence or SEO for free. If you're interested in a sponsored post please see our advertising page.
We do accept guest posts from independent wedding vendors (see info on contributors below).
Can we insert a text link into one of your posts?
No. We don't allow random text links.
Do you sell wedding dresses?
No. But we feature lots of beautiful wedding dress collections.
I've seen a wedding dress on your blog that I really like, where can I find my nearest stockist?
Whenever we feature a wedding dress collection, a real wedding or a photoshoot, we always include a link to the dress designer's website for our readers to find out more. If the designer's website doesn't list their stockists or prices we suggest contacting them directly via email or phone.
I've seen a cute favor bag / pretty pair of earrings / personalised, dip dyed, hand carved wedding sign on your blog, where can I purchase it?
Whenever we feature a real wedding, we ask each couple to provide as much information about their vendors as possible. Check out the credits at the bottom of the post to see if what you're looking for is listed. If not, I'm afraid we just don't know.
Sometimes we feature photos from other wedding blogs and sites, with a link to the photographer's website and to the original post. Head to the original post to find out more information.
Why haven't I received a response from you regarding that thing I emailed you about?
Unfortunately, due to the large volume of emails we receive each day, as a two person team, we can't reply to every single one. (We tried, but then there was no time left in the day for writing blog posts!) If you're a bride, groom or Bridal Musings reader stopping by to say ‘hello' (our favourite kind of emails!) we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Pinky promise. If you're a wedding professional or PR company, we'll get back to you within a week if we think your product, service, collection, shoot, event, idea etc. is a good fit for Bridal Musings. But please don't take it personally if you don't hear back from us.
Do you feature guest contributors?
Yes, we love it when talented wedding industry folk stop by to share their musings and helpful hints and tips with our readers.
We're currently looking for florists, hairstylists, makeup artists and stationers to contribute on a semi-regular basis (one post every 4-6 weeks) or alternatively to do a series of 2-5 posts. We're also keen to feature more DIY projects on the blog so if you're a craft blogger or stylist who'd like to share one (or more) of your pretty projects on the blog, please do get in touch.

If we think your post ideas would be a good fit for Bridal Musings we'll get back to you within a week.

We're flattered you like our content enough to want to share it with your readers. You're welcome to share one or two photos just please be sure to provide credit where it's due. Credit the photographer with a link to their website and credit Bridal Musings with a link to our original post.

Please don't copy and paste whole chunks of text or lots of photos from one of our features onto your own blog.
